I smoked these ribs with some of your Sweet Heat rub I had used this rub before on a rack of baby backs but this time I tried it on a rack of St Louis cut spare ribs
The ribs had great flavor and this rub really complimented my basting liquid (butter, Worcestershire sauce, Louisiana hot sauce,, lemon juice, and honey)
Everyone said these were some of the best ribs I have cooked Thanks for providing a great rib rub

We let Sweet Heat sit on the pork overnight and dust some Perfect Pork on just before cooking. Great combo. At home I use it on pork chops as well with addition of AP or Spicy Garlic.

I first heard of Dead Bird BBQ rubs while at the Hasty Bake Grill store in Tulsa. They recommended the DB 180 Sweet Heat rub for ribs. I tried it on some baby backs and I loved the sweet flavor along with the slight kick of heat it produced. I ordered some more of this rub and have used it on several cooks and everyone loves the flavor it gives the ribs. I highly recommend it and will be ordering more in the future.

Honestly, I sweet rubs are usually not something I love so this sat in my cupboard for a while unopened. Then I tried it. Now it is one of the rubs I use the most. I love it. Not too sweet, not too hot, perfectly balanced.

I added this brine to my regular recipe along with a few other DB180 products and it helped me take a 2nd in steak A and a 3rd in steak B resulting in the overall double grand champion with the highest taste score in steak A by quite a bit in the very next SCA double contest I cooked in.
It's wonderfully flavored and you can tell it's quality as soon as you open the bag. It's not to aggressive like other brines out there, which is a good thing in my process. It does what it needs to do to get you that perfect tenderness and rich beautiful deep penetrating flavor within the meat.
